Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Teacher/ Administrator to join our team at The Learning Experience. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of teachers, developing and implementing educational programs, and ensuring the overall success of our preschool program.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
- Classroom Management: Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Curriculum Development: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Communication and Community Building: Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Center Success: Support your center's success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
- Demonstrated Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- State Guidelines: Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including childcare, flexible schedule, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
