Job Summary

Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a highly skilled Patent Agent to join our Intellectual Property team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent writing skills, and USPTO Registration.

Responsibilities

As a Patent Agent, you will work on all aspects of the patent practice, preparing and prosecuting applications, conducting research, leading inventor meetings, and assisting on matters and proceedings before the USPTO. You will also be responsible for personal interviews before USPTO examiners and appearances before the Board of Appeals.

Qualifications

An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Admission/license to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is also required. Technical industry work experience is strongly preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role operates in a clerical, office setting. You will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position applies to the state of New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors, including experience, education, licensure, and certifications.
