Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Centrifuge Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating centrifuges, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centrifuge equipment, including spotting equipment, hoses, wear plates, and oil tubes, adhering to operational guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies and practices, including the use of personal protective gear.
• Work effectively in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings around machinery.
• Install, repair, and maintain valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other equipment associated with centrifuge operations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, hoses, connections, and the work area before starting any job. Report any deficiencies to your supervisor that could lead to accidents, injuries, or productivity loss.

Requirements

• Ability to travel extensively for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven experience in centrifuge operations.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts, seven days a week.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and at high elevations.
• Commitment to following training procedures and standard operating protocols.
• Strong understanding of specific procedures and directions.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and handle up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, pre-employment physical, and all required background checks.

Experience Preferred

• Prior experience setting up centrifuges is highly advantageous.
• Experience in centrifuge processing is beneficial.
