Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural design project teams in creating world-class designs for various projects, including power, process, corporate, healthcare, pipeline, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government, and military facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design project teams to create innovative and cost-effective designs that meet client needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement structural design plans, adapting to budget constraints, design factors, or client needs.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure effective project execution and quality control.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients and partners.
  • Lead the development of design cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve client scope.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to junior engineers and structural engineering practice.
  • Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Or Bachelor of Science in Structural or related Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering a plus.
  • 7 years of structural engineering experience, with EPC project experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.
  • Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures, strong knowledge of structural design codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE7).
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading the discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
