We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our production team at Hunter Fan Company. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical parts, pieces, and products according to required specifications in a specific area of our production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Fabrication: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize hand-held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun to perform assembly tasks.
  • Soldering: Perform soldering, which involves joining two or more metal items together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Defect Identification: Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Rework and Repair: Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specifications changes.
  • Adherence to Quality and Safety Standards: Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma (GED)
  • Experience: 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience may be required
  • Skills: Basic reading and verbal skills, ability to follow directions, and basic computer skills
Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Lifting: Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
  • Repetitive Tasks: Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Standing: Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
