SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI.

Job Summary:

The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine department's imaging services, ensuring quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow. This role will oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as provide technical expertise in the evaluation and selection of new technology and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical expertise in the evaluation and selection of new technology and equipment
  • Lead and develop staff, including orientation, training, and coaching
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or completion of a Nuclear Medicine certification program
  • Two years' experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification
