Barnes Inc. is seeking a skilled Aerospace Surface Finisher to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to burr and blend surfaces on aircraft engine parts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform burr and blend operations on aircraft engine parts according to established practices and overhaul manual instructions.
- Use appropriate abrasives and air guns required for each part or operation.
- Set-up holding devices such as rotary and hydraulic tables as needed.
- Detect faulty operations and materials and report these and other problems to immediate supervisor.
- Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in an aerospace environment.
- Good mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret manual instructions and operation sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Good communications skills.
