Project Manager - Electrical Distribution

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Eastern Pennsylvania. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various project management processes and activities throughout all stages, from project inception to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure complete compliance with all safety procedures at site and report safety compliance issues and safety incidents to Orbital and client supervision.
  • Drive project tasks to completion, learning regular responsibilities of the role and completing tasks in a timely manner as required based on project stage.
  • Host and/or attend regularly scheduled project meetings to maintain working knowledge of project status and gather information needed to complete required tasks.
  • Participate in on-site field walkdowns and contribute to project goals/objectives in a group setting.
  • Provide input to improve processes/procedures as appropriate to maximize efficiency and performance of the Project Team as a cohesive unit.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field.
  • 8-10 Years Project Management Experience.
  • Experience in Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Ability to perform financial planning and forecasting.
  • Competency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe).
  • Competency in scheduling software (P6) and ability to provide schedule updates as required.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work well in a group setting and manage simultaneous tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle to frequent construction sites.
