Radiology Medical Records Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately handling the scanning and filing of chart documents, chart inventory, and following HIPAA protocols.
Responsibilities- Accurately scan and file chart documents
- Manage chart inventory and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA protocols
- Provide excellent customer service skills and work independently and in a team environment
- Interact with physicians, staff, and other individuals
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in medical records
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Registered Health Information Technology (RHIT) certification
- Previous medical records experience
- Knowledge of our Epic System
