Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphical data.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
  • Verify and package products for shipment, ensuring quality control.
  • Stage products for loading and unload materials from trucks.
  • Manage inventory and organize materials for storage.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) including forklifts and order pickers.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs for equipment operation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • College degree with 2 years or more of relevant experience or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required.
  • Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks; current certification is a plus.
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling small components.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Long and varied hours may be required occasionally.
  • Willingness to participate in mandatory physical inventory counts.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and dusty conditions.
