Construction Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing general carpentry duties, including constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of drywall, wood, plywood, and wallboard.

• Read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Measure and lay out ceiling grids
• Measure and lay drywall track/framing
• Cut and hang drywall
• Install doors, frames, and hardware
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to pass a government background check and site access
