Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Lead, you will deliver both direct and indirect patient care by employing the nursing process and adhering to established policies.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing patient care operations during the night shift, ensuring effective management of nursing and operational activities.
You will collaborate with staff, physicians, and the department director to address operational challenges and interpret hospital policies, ensuring that patient care requirements are fulfilled.
You will also play a key role in hiring, counseling, evaluating, and scheduling staff.- An Associate's degree is mandatory
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
Required License:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or a compact state) is essential
Required Certification:
- American Heart Association BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- American Heart Association ACLS certification must be acquired within 90 days of employment
Additional Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment is required
- Preferably, 1 year of experience in a charge nurse or management position
