About the Role:

  • This Instructional Design position is an exciting opportunity to work with a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. As an Instructional Designer in the CRM Division, you will be responsible for creating instructor-led courses, eLearning content, and other instructional materials that simplify complex concepts and maximize information retention and knowledge transfer.
  • Our team in Austin, TX is looking for a skilled Instructional Designer who can lead or participate in all aspects of the industry-standard methodology for assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating content.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-person instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and eLearning content, including on-demand modules, videos, PowerPoint presentations, course quizzes, activity handouts, and other instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with Trainers and SMEs to gather knowledge for efficient design and development.
  • Work with Marketing to facilitate the generation of instructional materials and standard templates for design and writing alignment.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods that maximize information retention and knowledge transfer.
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders, SMEs, and other relevant parties.
  • Manage project timelines and drive initiatives to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all curricula by facilitating successful review processes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably as an instructional designer, educational technologist, eLearning developer, or related role delivering training content with demonstrated success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using PowerPoint, Articulate 360, BioDigital, or similar design and development software.
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE).
  • Written and oral communication skills.

Salary Range: $72,700 - $145,300 per year.
