  • Work Schedule: Days with start times at either 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM.
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
Core Duties

The qualified candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing, embedding, cutting, and staining of surgical and autopsy tissues.
  • Preparing and staining cytopathology specimens in accordance with established protocols.
  • Managing patient tissue samples, ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
  • Performing specialized techniques for diagnostic purposes and engaging in the Quality Assurance program.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or equivalent HTL certification.
  • Licensing: Histotechnician AAS NY State license is required.
Schedule Information

This position requires availability for day shifts, with start times of either 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM.
