Cashier Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Brookshire Grocery Company. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a safe and clean shopping environment.

• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas
• Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
