Position Overview:

As a Food Service Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and exceptional service of the dining department.

This supervisory position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, entry-level manager eager to advance their career in the food service sector.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the daily operations of dining services.
  • Guarantee client and customer satisfaction through effective and efficient management practices that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Oversee all food service-related activities, including customer care, retail operations, cafeteria services, catering, quality improvement, sanitation, and infection control.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service.
  • Background in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, educational institutions, military, healthcare, or similar food service environments.
  • Familiarity with food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, food cost management, and presentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with management, clients, customers, and team members.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, accounting, and computational skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet navigation.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
