Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document thorough Nursing Assessments within 24 hours of patient admission.
- Evaluate withdrawal symptoms and implement interventions as per established protocols.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with patients and their families.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Perform venipuncture and manage medication administration, including IV therapies.
- Transcribe physician orders and manage controlled substances responsibly.
- Conduct routine health monitoring and provide medical education to patients and families.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license
- Experience in adult care preferred
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
- Must be capable of administering First Aid and CPR
- Emotional and physical resilience in high-pressure situations
- If in recovery, a minimum of two years of continuous abstinence is required
