Job Summary

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic services in the area of speech, language, cognition, feeding, and swallowing for infant through adult patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing disorders
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited speech and language program
  • Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with infant through adult patient populations

Work Schedule

  • PRN, as needed

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $45.75 per hour, dependent on experience.
