Job Title: Team Player

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Team Player to join our sales team at ASICS America Corporation. As a Team Player, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assessing their needs, and making recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge by staying up-to-date on sales, promotions, and policies.
  • Meet sales goals by recommending, selecting, and helping customers locate merchandise.
  • Support the processing of shipments and merchandise by scanning, repricing, and filling the sales floor with product.
  • Retrieve product from the floor, back-stock, and/or up-stock using provided equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication, and their applications.
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and respectful manner with customers and employees.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime, to fit business needs.
  • Must have the ability to travel to assigned store with own transportation methods.
  • Willing to work as part of a team and complete some work independently.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • This is an entry-level position.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and squat the majority of the work shift.
  • Must be able to lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports.
  • Must be able to see, hear, and speak to communicate with employees and other customers.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to have manual dexterity required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and type, reach with hands and arms.
