Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a skilled professional to join our Engineering Services Division as an Inspector (Quality Assurance Engineer 3). In this role, you will work within a team of individuals to support the Laboratory's mission to deliver world-class facilities and infrastructure. As an Inspector, you will perform inspections to verify construction and maintenance comply with code and design requirements.

Job Summary
This position requires a talented and driven engineer looking to develop, maintain, and apply a diverse set of engineering capabilities to provide innovative engineering solutions. You will contribute to the implementation of the Conduct of Engineering (COE) program at LANL in support of systems, structure, and component modifications and new installations, and will support nuclear, accelerator, or non-nuclear facilities across 38 square miles of the Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspections to verify compliance with building codes and standards
* Work within a team of individuals to support the Laboratory's mission
* Develop, maintain, and apply a diverse set of engineering capabilities to provide innovative engineering solutions

Requirements
* Minimum 8 years of working experience performing inspections to verify compliance with building codes and standards
* Demonstrated advanced ability in articulating concepts through various oral and written communication media
* Experience with welding inspections in accordance with ASME codes and standards
* Reading and understanding engineering design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure their completeness and constructability

Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Industrial Systems Engineering or a related field and 8 year of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
