As a Senior Health Care Consultant, you will work in a collaborative team environment to conduct project management, research, develop, review, and discuss policy and programming solutions to support initiatives focused on compliance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and federal Olmstead requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project management for engagements focused on ADA and Olmstead requirements.
Conduct comprehensive and nationwide research on federal compliance and oversight efforts of ADA and Olmstead requirements.
Develop and assist in implementing policy documentation for client states.
Provide expert guidance and support agency leadership in implementing improvements and addressing challenges.
Collaborate with agency staff to develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Serve as a subject matter expert in meetings, presentations, and discussions related to the ADA and Olmstead.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years' of related experience required.
Experience and knowledge of ADA and Olmstead requirements.
Previous experience in policy administration or project management roles is preferred.
Proficient use of applicable software tools, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to large or small groups.
Self-directed and motivated, with ability to work independently under general instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments.
Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.
