Compensation: $40 - $50 per hour (W2)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain a critical software application.
  • Develop and test data windows to replace over 100 outdated spreadsheet formats previously created with a legacy third-party tool.
  • Implement coding and testing for bug fixes and functional improvements.
  • Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support essential business processes in Preconstruction and Scoping.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer, proficient in PB10 or later versions.
  • Strong SQL proficiency (experience with Sybase database is a plus, but skills in any database platform are acceptable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with the standard software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, unit and system testing, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and technical abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Ability to work with a custom base-class.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between business processes and IT solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in C# development.
  • Experience in Java development.
  • Proficient in coding stored procedures and triggers across various databases.
  • Experience in a Visual Studio development environment.
  • Data conversion expertise.

Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. The provided pay range reflects a W2 hourly rate; alternative employment options may be available that could result in different compensation.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for a variety of benefits, including medical (with a choice of three plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, and other voluntary benefits such as life and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
