About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join its team. As a key member of our research operations team, you will be responsible for managing trial operations, overseeing clinical research trials processes, and ensuring the success of our clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage trial operations and oversee clinical research trials processes.
  • Hold responsibility for problem-solving and decision-making to optimize clinical trial success.
  • Serve as an in-house phlebotomist for all active clinical trials.
  • Take initiative to complete study tasks in a purposeful manner.
  • Provide mentorship and support the practical training of Research Coordinators.
  • Recruit, screen, schedule, enroll, and run participants through study visits.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure all visit tasks are performed to protocol.
  • Maintain secure and accurate data collection, entry, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with study sponsors to ensure regulatory documents and processes are followed.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree (RN, NP).
  • 1+ years of clinical trials experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in phlebotomy.
  • Active Phlebotomy Certificate in the state of California or willingness to obtain.
  • 1+ years of experience working with neurodiverse children and/or adolescents.
