Position Overview- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities:
As a travel nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing complex medical conditions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Patient Care:
You will handle a patient ratio of 1:1-3 for critical care and 1:4-6+ if floated. Your experience in acute care will be essential in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of acute care experience related to the position. Essential certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Experience in Neuro ICU/SICU and strong EKG skills are required, along with proficiency in various monitoring techniques.
Additional Information:
Navy blue scrubs are required, and familiarity with EPIC charting is preferred. There may be opportunities for floating to additional units based on skill set and hospital needs.
