The Bingo Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in the effective management and oversight of daily activities within the Bingo department. This position involves direct supervision of assigned tasks and ensuring that all operations align with guest expectations. The supervisor is responsible for addressing and resolving any escalated issues related to departmental functions and guest or employee interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training, development, performance evaluation, and scheduling of department personnel as needed.
  • Generate closing, summary, session, and 24-hour activity reports.
  • Process game payouts and manage void payout receipts promptly.
  • Conduct counts and authorize the main bank.
  • Update ace ball amounts and transition the system to the subsequent session.
  • Supervise sidework and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill the duties of a Bingo Attendant when required.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant gaming regulations and internal company policies, including Title 31 and federal guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, ideally within a Bingo setting.
  • Prior experience in cash handling is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead both small groups and individuals.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.
  • Familiarity with Title 31 regulations is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must obtain and maintain all necessary work cards as mandated by the company.
  • Verification of the right to work in the United States is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasionally bend, reach, twist, and sit.
  • Frequently stand and communicate via radio and paging systems.
  • Constantly walk, distinguish between shades of color, and utilize vision and hearing.

Work Environment:

  • Indoor setting.
  • Potentially smoky and noisy conditions.
