Responsibilities:
  • Perform tire services, including removal, installation, rotation, balancing, and flat repairs, in accordance with TIA guidelines.
  • Reset TPMS when necessary and inspect tire tread depth, air pressure, and carcass for defects.
  • Inspect vehicles using inspection forms and report potential repairs to the supervisor.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair, including oil changes, chassis lubrication, filter and fluid inspection and replacement, and other light mechanical items and repairs.
  • Raise and lower vehicles safely using hydraulic or floor jacks.
  • Operate shop machinery, including rim clamp machines, balancers, floor jacks or lifts, air-powered tools, torque wrenches, and parts washers.
  • Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and help load/unload delivery trucks.
  • Set up tire racks, signs, and other displays each morning and store them neatly at the end of the day.
Requirements:
  • Experience in auto mechanics.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the company's insurance requirements.
  • Ongoing training is required per company standards.
  • Ability to operate all diagnostics and alignment equipment.
