Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations to represent clients and advocate for their interests
  • Work closely with partners and senior associates to develop and implement case strategy
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to ensure seamless case management
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to the California state bar
  • 1-3 years of experience in general civil liability, construction defect, and/or insurance defense
  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client service and satisfaction
