Ironworker Leadman

The Ironworker Leadman will oversee a crew in planning, layout, installation, and alignment of ironwork projects in accordance with plans, specifications, tolerances, industry standards, and codes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to motivate the crew to work safely, productively, correctly, and efficiently.

• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for the crew.
• Implement lockout/tag out procedures and ensure 100% tie off/fall protection.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow the Mastec planning/JSA process.
• Support additional safety practices, including supervisor audits, craft observations, and SLT meetings.
• Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with contract plans and specifications.

• 4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred).
• Experience in a supervisory role.
