Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education and support to patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various types of cancer, including hematological and solid tumors
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in North Carolina
  • 12 months of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of oncology nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies
  • Certification in oncology nursing (OCN) or a related field
