The Healthcare Project Supervisor plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between project teams and clients. This position entails overseeing all on-site operations, which includes ensuring adherence to safety protocols, optimizing work methodologies, managing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and forecasting labor costs along with staffing needs for trade partners. Upholding a culture of safety is paramount, making it essential for the Supervisor to exemplify and reinforce our commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively execute the following core responsibilities:

Safety Management
  • Promote and integrate Bouten's Safety Culture into daily operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA's), Pre-Task Planning, Toolbox Talks, and Root Cause Analyses (RCA's) as standard practices.
  • Quickly address any deviations from Bouten's Safety Culture.
Field Operations Oversight
  • Oversee mid to large-scale field projects and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant project delivery with exceptional quality.
  • Ensure project timelines, site logistics, and client commitments are consistently met.
  • Facilitate constructability reviews and site logistics planning.
  • Conduct safety audits and promptly address any safety issues.
Leadership and Communication
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier Foremen and tradespeople.
  • Guide and support Foremen and Craft Labor in their professional development.
  • Effectively communicate company initiatives and updates to field teams regularly.
  • Resolve conflicts by identifying root causes and providing timely solutions.
  • Address performance challenges with decisiveness and fairness.
  • Encourage a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.

Qualifications
  • Union member with a high school diploma and completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial general construction supervisor is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, K-12, and higher education projects is preferred, along with knowledge of alternative delivery methods (GC/CM, Design-build, etc.).
  • Lean construction experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing projects valued between $50K and $50M.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Diverse project experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up capabilities.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding client service.
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $104,000 - $175,000
