Bonita Springs Utilities is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our wastewater treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and processing systems.
  • Monitor and control chemical levels, water quality, and treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to monitor water quality and treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance plant efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations.
  • Valid State of Florida Class C Wastewater Plant Operator's license.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
