Join Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC as a Patient Financial Advocate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients on-site at hospitals for eligibility assistance programs.
  • Provide information and reports to client contacts, keeping them current on progress.
  • Identify patient needs and assist with enrollment applications to relevant agencies.
  • Introduce Firstsource services and inform patients of regular contact.
  • Transition patients to backend specialists for positive relationships.
  • Record patient information on designated sheets and document results in tracking tools.
  • Identify out-patient/ER accounts and review system information.
  • Face-to-face screen patients, attempting phone contact if unable.
  • Document out-patient/ER accounts in hospital systems and tracking tools.
  • Conduct outside field work, including patient home visits for eligibility screening.
  • Other duties as assigned or required by client contract.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years' experience in medical coding, billing, eligibility, or related medical experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
  • Dress code and policies may vary at each healthcare facility.
  • Working on holidays or odd hours may be required.
