Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of local and remote direct reports, analyzing and improving our current PCNA servers and SAN systems, and leading the team towards a more secure, faster, and cleaner data structure for both on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of local and remote direct reports, providing coaching, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Analyze and improve our current PCNA servers and SAN systems, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead the team towards a more secure, faster, and cleaner data structure for both on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Perform systems administration duties, with a 50/50 split between hands-on work and management.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain network servers and related applications.
  • Maintain and support daily server operations, including logs, patching, configuration, and system security.
  • Develop and maintain backup, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with architecture, technology, audit, and security standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field.
  • 5-10 years of IT/systems administration experience.
  • Strong initiative and ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Experience with virtual server environments (VMWare and HyperV).
  • Ability to analyze situations and identify factors to determine appropriate action, remedies, and outcomes.
  • Experience with ITIL or CobIT best practices.
  • Ability to maintain business-critical systems and applications that operate 24/7/365.
