We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit team at Versa Recruiting, LLC. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the care of assigned patients, ensuring their needs are met and their comfort is maintained.
- Coordinate the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for examination, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Respond to and refer incoming calls, including phone triage when necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
- 1 year of medical surgical experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
