We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at St. Vincent's Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' level of function and develop personalized treatment plans to address their physical needs.
- Administer medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments to patients, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for managing their condition.
- Participate in patient transition planning and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required or active temporary license at time of hire.
- Acute care experience preferred, but open to new graduates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based software.
