**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Creel Operator to join our team at Mohawk Industries Inc. As a Creel Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the proper yarn supply close to the creel to ensure efficient package changes. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove empty cones and hang correct yarn, splicing if necessary
  • Patrol the creel and ensure yarn is running smoothly
  • Stop the machine if a breakout occurs and assist the operator in doffing a warp/roll
  • Perform daily autonomous maintenance activities and participate in the Quality Improvement Process
  • Attend job-related training and follow established standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to read and write in standard English and perform basic math calculations
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training and health and environmental safety training
