Achievement Behavior Services is in search of a seasoned and proactive Chief Operations Officer to manage and optimize the daily functions of our organization. This critical position is essential for maintaining the effectiveness and productivity of various divisions, including human resources, quality assurance, client intake, billing processes, and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in business management and healthcare, along with a comprehensive understanding of Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Direct the daily operations and responsibilities of the organization.
  • Oversee the human resources department to guarantee maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure prompt billing, conduct medical audits, and enforce mandatory training through the quality assurance department.
  • Evaluate trends and supervise the client intake department.
  • Manage payroll, invoices, insurance rate reports, and other billing department activities.
  • Lead marketing initiatives focused on recruitment and community engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to state and insurance-specific regulations across all service offerings.

Strategic Development:

  • Guide the agency's portfolio growth, including entering new markets and expanding services.
  • Oversee the processing of out-of-state applications and licensing.
  • Facilitate the establishment of new center locations.
  • Manage the expansion into educational districts and relevant governmental departments.
  • Create timelines and support daily operations for each initiative.
  • Develop training programs that comply with out-of-state requirements.
  • Regularly consult with agency advisors, including legal professionals, to oversee various expansion initiatives.

Financial Oversight:

  • Establish and track the budget for expansion efforts.
  • Develop and manage the agency's overall budget, with a focus on insurance-based services.
  • Monitor receivables from all funding sources.
  • Collaborate with the billing department on financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators for various departments within the agency.

Collaborative Leadership:

  • Work in partnership with Clinical Directors and the CEO to advance the organizational vision, strategy, and recruitment processes.
  • Reporting structure: Reports directly to the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Progressive experience in senior leadership roles is essential.
