Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU, ensuring their safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal and child health, with the necessary skills in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required.
Administer conscious sedation under appropriate protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Monitor patients' conditions, report any changes, and provide appropriate interventions.
Educate patients and families on care plans and health management strategies.

Qualifications:

Skills:
A minimum of two years of experience in pediatric nursing with a focus on maternal and child health.
Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy techniques.
Experience with administering conscious sedation.

Education:
Current New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Certifications & Licenses:
Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Phlebotomy certification (preferred).

Languages:
Proficiency in English (speak, read, write).

Hours per Week:
34.50 hours

Hours per Day:
11.50 hours

Days per Week:
3 days

Schedule Notes:
Rotating weekends are required, and staff must report as scheduled, including holidays.
