Job Summary

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the production team operates efficiently and safely, adhering to the production schedule and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead entire off-shift operations, delivering key performance indicators such as safety, quality, cost, and service.
  • Manage production and other departments as needed, ensuring labor and OPEX budgets are met.
  • Manage the team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Monitor the production process, making periodic checks and adjustments to equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure equipment in assigned areas is in working order and working conditions are safe at all times.
  • Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up.
  • Supervise change overs and manage overall package and product quality to ensure all standards and specifications are maintained.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives and analyze performance data to identify business opportunities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED, 3+ years of experience in consumer products manufacturing, food, and/or beverage environment, 0-1+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience managing performance metrics, self-motivated, and disciplined team player.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve process, systems, and/or mechanical failures, computer and database application skills, and proficiency with Microsoft suite.
