We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in long-term care for the position of Long-Term Care Compliance Consultant.
In this capacity, you will be a vital part of our Public Health Division, conducting state and federal evaluations of long-term care facilities to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct state and federal evaluations of long-term care facilities, including interviews, record assessments, and observations of resident care practices such as feeding, bathing, grooming, medication administration, meal preparation, infection control, wound care, and transfers, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.
Compensation:
$42.267/hour, based on years of relevant experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of post-secondary coursework in professional nursing and experience in hospital, public health, or nursing administration, education, or healthcare facility evaluations.
Legal Requirements:A valid Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or eligibility to practice under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience in long-term care settings, geriatrics, nursing administration, education, or healthcare facility evaluations. Familiarity with interviewing techniques, public health principles, and healthcare facility standards is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license. Frequent overnight travel is expected—at least two weeks per month. Availability to work at least one weekend shift per quarter is required. Ability to perform 10-hour shifts and travel up to two hours daily is necessary.
Must be capable of carrying a laptop or tablet and conducting thorough observations of various care practices.
Strong assessment and documentation skills are essential, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
