Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax-related projects, including system maintenance and/or development
  • Prepare and/or review tax returns and corresponding tax work papers and files
  • Research law, regulations, administrative rulings and court cases and present proposals to lawfully minimize tax liability
  • Research and draft responses to inquiries from government agencies regarding tax filings, and other claims
  • Provide and/or verify tax assumptions and tax results in project models
  • Lead project teams to improve quality, efficiency, predictability and/or transparency
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in tax-related projects
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multi-tiered partnership structures
  • Good understanding of partnership special allocations
  • Analytical, solutions-focused mindset with the proven ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proficiency with software and system applications (OneSource Tax Provision, CorpTax, Microsoft Office 365) and ability to learn internal applications
