**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct thorough orthodontic assessments for pediatric patients, including initial consultations and ongoing treatment evaluations.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Provide orthodontic consultations to parents and guardians, educating them on treatment options and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including coordination with general dentists and specialists.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric orthodontics through ongoing education and professional development.
**Requirements:**
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree or a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, with active licensure in California.
  • Further studies in orthodontics, accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA).
  • Member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
  • In-depth knowledge of various molds and orthodontic appliances, including digital imaging and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding patient management skills, with a focus on empathy and communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, parents, and colleagues.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
  • Part-time position, with a minimum of 7-8 days per month.
