Job Summary:

UNC Health Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in the Cardiology Clinic. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses and physicians with procedures and patient care
  • Perform general office duties, including preparing and maintaining medical records
  • Coordinate patient care information with other healthcare providers
  • Provide a broad range of treatments and therapies to patients, including respiratory treatments and administration of medications
  • Enter data into the electronic medical record and ensure its accuracy

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
