Role Summary

The Lead Flower Processing Specialist will cultivate a motivating team atmosphere characterized by open communication. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the department in collaboration with the Department Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process quality assessments and implement corrective actions for any non-compliance.
  • Understand quality metrics and their connection to site performance and vision.
  • Ensure adherence to necessary CGMP standards.
  • Establish clear objectives for the team.
  • Delegate responsibilities and set deadlines effectively.
  • Monitor team performance and provide hourly metrics reports.
  • Inspire and motivate team members.
  • Identify training needs and offer coaching.
  • Address team feedback and resolve conflicts promptly.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to guide and enhance team performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of performance metrics.
  • Proficient in PC applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective decision-making capabilities.
  • A degree in Management or Business is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a Level 2 background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years old (per state law).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 40 lbs to a height of at least 5 feet and carry such weight a distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Capable of working in seated or standing positions for extended periods, maintaining balance while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
  • Must handle organic materials daily and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Visual acuity is required for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details.
  • Effective verbal communication skills are necessary for interaction with colleagues and vendors.

Compensation will be based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is available for this position. The role typically requires an average of 40 hours per week, with availability for after-hours emergencies.
