We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the North Austin area. As a LPN with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary

The LPN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • One year of experience in home health care or a related field.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
