CLIENT INSIGHT
Our client, AFGSC (Air Force Global Strike Command), plays a pivotal role in organizing, training, and equipping global strike forces. The command oversees a variety of missions, including Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and bomber operations, ensuring that all units are prepared to fulfill their critical roles in national defense.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engineering expertise to the AFGSC/A4C team on significant infrastructure and facility projects.
- Assist in the planning and development of project requirements, cost assessments, and management tasks for complex, multi-phase engineering projects.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: A Secret clearance is required.
- Possession of an ABET-accredited engineering undergraduate degree or an ABET-accredited graduate degree in a STEM field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in facility project planning and management at the base or MAJCOM level, with a preference for Military Construction (MILCON) experience.
- At least five (5) years of experience in engineering or project management support, with professional licensing being advantageous.
- Five (5) years of experience in documenting engineering objectives and requirements.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance based on an SSBI completed within the last five years.
