Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse to join our team at Willis Knighton Health. As a Charge Nurse on our 3 North Med/Surg/Tele floor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses and nursing assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make patient assignments and delegate tasks to nursing staff
- Be a role model for staff nurses and a resource person for the healthcare team
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Monitor policy, procedures, and practices of the facility and educate staff on new changes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure and ACLS certification
- At least 2-3 years of med/surg/tele experience in an acute care setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work every other weekend and some holidays
