Acadia Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Therapist to join our team. As a Licensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized and group therapeutic support and services to adults with mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and update as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss treatment planning and ongoing discharge planning.
- Develop effective treatment plans that apply therapeutic principles appropriately while ensuring patient safety.
- Communicate with family members to understand and support patients.
- Manage a caseload and maintain accurate patient chart documentation.
- Facilitate education, support groups, and referrals as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
- 1-2 years' experience working with patient population preferred.
- Eligible for state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC), Registered Addiction Counselor (RAC), or other required state licensure.
- First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Advanced oral communication skills.
- Intermediate attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and team-oriented individual.
- Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Social Worker.
- Experience working with behavioral health patient population.
