About the Role
">Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our team. As a senior member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
">Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
">Job Description
">Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on patient evaluations">
- Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function">
- Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing various physical activities">
- Administer soft tissue mobilization and traction to relieve pain">
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts and automated systems">
- C coordinate treatment with physicians and other staff members">
- Prioritize and optimally dose specific interventions to improve function and safe mobility">
- Evaluate and document patient response to treatment on an ongoing basis">
- Maintain proper medical records on all patients">
- Perform primary evaluations, require knowledge of differential diagnosis, history taking, complex examination procedures, correlation of test results and measurements, and prescribing of treatment">
- Issue profiles, place personnel on quarters, and refer patients to other specialty clinics as needed">
- Support staff by furnishing written plans of care describing all treatment tasks to appropriate clinic personnel">
Qualifications:
">- ">
- Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2002">
- Minimum two (2) years experience providing direct out-patient care in physical therapy in the United States">
- Minimum two (2) years experience providing direct in-patient care in physical therapy in the United States">
- Possess a current, valid, active, and unrestricted license from any U.S. jurisdiction to practice as a physical therapist">
- Possess a current BLS certification">
- American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certification or specialization in orthopedic, sport, and manual therapy is preferred">
Work Environment:
">This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret abstract and concrete data, evaluate outcomes, and problem-solve within scope.
