Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at Henry Ford Health System, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. Under general supervision, you will specialize in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures, including general diagnostic radiology examinations. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients for examinations, reviewing clinical data, and performing CT scans. You will also be responsible for analyzing anatomical structures, setting up equipment, and manually controlling equipment to obtain diagnostic information. Additionally, you will administer intravenous contrast media, assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures, and perform all imaging procedures while demonstrating principles of radiation protection. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that images are of high quality and delivered into the PACS system accurately. You will also be responsible for completing study indexing, reviewing and confirming clinical protocols, and performing all documentation in the medical record and radiology information system.
